The initial deposit covers record review, initial processing, onboarding as well as AML checks and due diligence procedures are we are a UK licensed firm and compliant to UK tax laws, regulations whilst abiding with the correct Accounting Standards. Deposit is not normally refundable once work has started.
Your fixed fee covers preparation of your limited company annual accounts, preparation and filing of your Corporation Tax return, and submission to both Companies House and HMRC.
It also includes fixed asset and capital allowance treatment where the information is available, digital signing of your documents, and filing receipts once everything has been submitted for both our records so there's a clear audit trail everything has been completed.
Your accounts are prepared under the correct UK reporting framework for your company;
The process is simple and entirely digital, so there's no need for phone calls or office visits.
We follow up with a secure request for the information we need, we perform the AML checks in the background and send out our engagement letter for signing*.
*the engagement letter covers the scope of services provided, terms and conditions, confirms our formal appointment and informs you of our professional indemnity and business insurance coverage in addition to your respective disclosures.
(The AML, ID request will come separately to your email. The engagement letter will be sent out via our partner signing platform)
Once we have your records, we prepare your annual Accounts and Corporation Tax return, and send them to you to review and sign digitally through our secure, UK/EU compliant signing platform.
The £200 balance is due once the accounts pack are with you for signing (step 3) and before we file.
As soon as everything is signed and paid, we submit your accounts to Companies House and your return to HMRC, and send you the filing receipts for your records.
Our online questionnaire will walk you through exactly what to provide, but in most cases this is your company details, year-end, Corporation Tax UTR, Companies House authentication code, PDF bank statements, and a CSV export of your bank transactions, along with a short description of what the business does.
Depending on your company, we may also ask for previous accounts, payroll summaries, details of any assets the company has purchased, cash sales records, or an explanation of anything that isn't clear from your bank statements.
If you already use FreeAgent, Xero, QuickBooks or a similar platform, you're welcome to invite us as a user, or simply export your trial balance and nominal ledger for us (please google this if you are unsure, or let us know at accounts@dmp-accountants.co.uk)
A note on bank CSV files: these help us move faster. If you can add a short note next to anything unclear - travel, software, equipment, office equipment director payments and so on - it saves time later.
You don't need perfect bookkeeping before you contact us; however we do advise a decent description so we can understand what the transaction is, how it relates to the business and apply the correct corporation tax principle in particular reference to the "Wholly and exclusively purpose for the business".
If you or we are unsure of anything and/or there is a dual purpose, please let us know or we will endeavour our best to reach out and apply the correct treatment.
Once we've received your deposit, completed AML checks, received your signed engagement letter, and have what we need to prepare your accounts, typical turnaround is 7 to 10 working days.
If your records are clean and complete, priority handling is available for an additional £49, with a turnaround of either within 24hrs and/or up to 48 hours.
If you have a UK parent company with limited activity; for example, mainly intercompany transactions, dividend income and basic admin costs, with no wider trading - we're often able to prepare these accounts for £265, paid as a £65 deposit and the usual £200 balance before filing.
Where a parent company has broader activity, such as consolidation, acquisition accounting or unusual disclosures, this reduced fee won't apply, and we'll provide a separate quote.
If your company runs payroll, we can reflect this in your accounts where it's already been filed and you have no more than two directors or employees - we'll just need your full-year payslips or payroll summaries, confirmation of any Employment Allowance claimed, and any PAYE or NIC balance owed at year-end.
Payroll corrections and late RTI filings sit outside the fixed fee.
If you work from home, let us know in the questionnaire and we can apply the standard HMRC allowance of £6 a week (£312 a year).
If you'd rather claim your actual costs instead, we can send you a simple template to complete.
Most companies within our scope stay comfortably within the fixed fee.
Occasionally extra work is needed - priority handling (£49), requesting records from a previous accountant (£30), reconstructing incomplete bookkeeping (from £49), or anything involving VAT, payroll corrections, HMRC enquiries or complex group transactions, which we quote separately.
If you already hold your previous accounts, Corporation Tax return, trial balance and fixed asset register, you can upload these directly through our questionnaire - it's usually quicker than us requesting them on your behalf (and you save the £30 fee, aforementioned).
Your deposit covers onboarding, AML checks, and initial record review, and isn't normally refundable once work has started.
If you already have your previous accounts, Corporation Tax return, trial balance and fixed asset register, you can upload them through the questionnaire link we will send out separately to your email (on the contact form).
If you do not have these records, we recommend asking your previous accountant first.
If however, we need to contact your previous accountant to request records, a £30 administration fee applies.

In the event of historic or forthcoming HMRC enquiries/ investigations - these are not included in the fixed fee, but we're happy to support you with these separately if needed.
Director Self Assessment Tax Returns
Many limited company directors also need to file a personal Self Assessment tax return, especially where they receive dividends, salary, rental income or other personal income.
If you want ongoing support rather than a one-off filing service, we also offer monthly accounting packages for limited companies.
These can include bookkeeping support, payroll, VAT, management information and regular accounting support depending on the needs of the business.
DMP provides valuation support for shareholders, directors, investors and professional advisers.
Valuations may be needed for shareholder exits, restructures, investment, disputes, tax planning, financial reporting or simply understanding what a business may be worth.
For businesses that need more strategic support, we provide advisory services across financial reporting, performance improvement, outsourced finance support, cash flow, invoicing control and business planning.
This includes support where companies want better financial visibility, improved internal processes or help with specific commercial matters.
